Guilherme Guerreiro

Researcher at UNINOVA Center of Technology and Systems (CTS) since October 2016, holds an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the faculty of Science and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon (FCT/UNL) and is currently a PhD student in the same area and faculty. He is involved in the areas of data interoperability, big data processing, data mining and visualization. He has supported “OPTIMUM” EU research project, in the Intelligent Transportation Systems domain, which focus was to provide big data state-of-the-art information technology solutions to improve transit, freight transportation and traffic connectivity throughout Europe. Currently he is working in "BOOST 4.0" project, which is one of the biggest European initiatives to guide manufacturing industry into Industry 4.0, providing the industrial sector with the necessary tools to obtain the maximum benefit of Big Data in factories.
